COOKIE POLICY

On 8 May 2014, the Italian Data Protection Authority published the identify the simplified methods for the information and the acquisition of consent for the use of cookies; this document was converted into the law of the State, Cookie Law, June 3, 2014 (see al No cookies for profiling without consent).

With this law, the owner/operator of the website has the obligation to obtain prior and informed consent of users to the installation of cookies used for purposes other than purely technical.

WHAT ARE THE COOKIES
Cookies are text files containing minimum information sent to the browser and stored on the user’s computer, mobile phone or other device, every time you visit a website. At each link, cookies refer information to the reference site.

Cookies can be persistent (persistent cookies) if they remain on your computer until you delete them, or temporary (session cookies) if they are disabled when you close your browser. Cookies can also be first party cookies if set by the site visited, or third party cookies if placed by a site other

For the purposes of the law, the Data Protection Authority identifies two types of cookies: “technical cookies” and “profiling cookies”.

technical cookies
Technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of “transmit a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide that service” (cf. art. 122, paragraph 1, of the
They are not used for other purposes and are normally installed directly by the website owner or operator. They can be divided into navigation or session cookies, which guarantee the normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, to make a purchase or authenticate to access restricted areas); any analytics cookies, assimilated to technical cookies when used directly by the site operator to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site; functionality cookies, that allow the user to navigate according to a series of selected criteria (for example, language, products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service rendered to the same. Prior consent of users is not required for the installation of such cookies.

profiling cookies
Profiling cookies are aimed at creating user profiles and are used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the same in the context of web browsing. Due to the particular invasiveness that such devices may have within the privacy of users, European and Italian legislation provides that the user must be adequately informed about the use of the same and thus express their valid consent. They refer to art. 122 of the Privacy Code where it provides that “the storage of information in the terminal equipment of a contractor or user or access to information already stored is only permitted provided that the contractor or user has given his or her consent after being informed by the simplified procedures referred to in Article 13 Privacy Code, paragraph 3

The essential cookies
These cookies are essential to allow the user to move around the site and use the services requested, such as access to protected areas of the site.
Essential cookies are first party cookies and can be permanent or temporary. Without these cookies the user could not access the requested services and our site would not work properly.

Performance cookie
Performance cookies collect information about your use of a site, such as which pages you visit most frequently. These cookies do not store identification data of individual visitors, but only aggregated and anonymous data.

We use these cookies for statistical purposes to understand how our site is used.

These cookies may be permanent or temporary, first or third parties. Essentially, these cookies collect anonymous information on the pages visited.

functionality cookies
These cookies allow the site to remember visitors’ choices (such as username, language or country of access) and provide more customized features. Functionality cookies can also be used to provide services requested by the user, such as accessing a video or adding a comment to a blog. The information used by these cookies is anonymous and it is not possible to track the navigation of users on other sites.

We use these cookies to:

  • remember if a particular service has already been provided to the user
  • improve the overall experience on the site by remembering the user’s preferences.

These cookies may be permanent or temporary, first or third parties. Essentially, these cookies remember the individual choices made by users to improve their browsing experience.

Google Analytics
Our site includes some components transmitted by Google Analytics, a web traffic analysis service provided by Google. These are third-party cookies collected and managed anonymously to monitor and improve the performance of the host site (performance cookies).

Google Analytics uses “cookies” to collect and analyze anonymously information about the behavior of use of our website. This information is collected by Google Analytics, which processes it for the purpose of drawing up reports for our operators regarding the activities on the websites themselves. This site does not use (and does not allow third parties to use) the Google analytics tool to monitor or collect personal identification information.

The Guarantor has specified that Google Analytics cookies can be assimilated to technical cookies only if used for the purpose of site optimization directly by the owner of the site itself, which may collect information in aggregate form on the number of users and how they visit the site. Under these conditions, the same rules apply for analytics cookies, in terms of information and consent, provided for technical cookies.

Please note, therefore, that on our Google Analytics management components have been appropriately modified so that the IP addresses of users are anonymized.

For further information, please refer to the link below: How Google uses the data

The user can selectively disable the action of Google Analytics by installing on their browser the opt-out component provided by Google. To disable Google Analytics action, please refer to the following link: Browser add-on for disabling Google Analytics

Other cookies of third parties
By visiting a website you can receive cookies both from the site visited (“owners”) and from sites managed by other organizations (“third parties”). An example is represented by the presence of “social plugins” for Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, etc. These are parts of the page visited directly generated by the aforementioned sites and integrated into the page of the host site. The most common use of social plugins is aimed at sharing content on social networks.

The presence of these plugins involves the transmission of cookies to and from all sites operated by third parties. The management of the information collected by “third parties” is governed by the relevant information notices to which please refer. To ensure greater transparency and convenience, please find below the web addresses of the different information and methods for managing cookies.

HOW TO MANAGE AND DISABLE COOKIES
You can decide whether or not to accept cookies using your browser settings.

Attention : the total or partial disabling of technical cookies may compromise the use of the site’s features reserved for registered users. On the contrary, the usability of public content is also possible by completely disabling cookies.

Disabling “third party” cookies does not in any way affect the navigability.

The setting can be defined specifically for different websites and web applications.

Ciascun browser presenta procedure diverse per la gestione delle impostazioni. L’utente può ottenere istruzioni specifiche attraverso i link sottostanti.

In the case of services provided by third parties, the User may also exercise their right to object to the tracking by informing themselves through the privacy policy of the third party, through the opt out link if explicitly provided or by contacting it directly.
